ORDER 06-11-2024 Heard Mr. U Dutta, learned counsel for the petitioners and Ms. S H Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State.

¶2By this application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioners, namely, (i) Sri Taranga Choudhury, son of Biresh Ch. Choudhury, resident of Sawkuchi, P.S.-Garchuk, District-Kamrup(Metro) and (ii) Sri Partha Pratim Pathak, son of Sri Hari Narayan Pathak, resident of Uzan Bazar, Padumpukhuri, P.S.-Latasil, District-Kamrup (Metro) are seeking bail in Latasil Police Station Case No. 83/2024 registered under Sections 376(2)(n)/376(3)/328 IPC read with Sections 6/17 of the POCSO Act corresponding to G.R. No. 4588/2024.

¶3During the deliberation of the matter, Ms. S H Bora, learned APP, Assam, on instruction, has submitted that police after completion of the investigation of the case has already submitted Charge-Sheet in said Latasil P.S. Case No. 83/2024 vide Charge-Sheet No. 90/2024 dated 30.10.2024.

¶4In view of the above, the petitioners are directed to appear before the appropriate forum/authority for their regular bail in said Latasil P.S. Case No. 83/2024.

¶5Accordingly, this bail application stands disposed of.
