Heard Mr. M. U. Mondal, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant. Also heard Mr. U. Sarma, learned standing counsel, appearing on behalf of Opposite Parties No. 1 to 7. However, none appears on behalf of Opposite Party No. 8.

In view of the nature of the order that I propose to pass today, notice on Opposite Party No. 8 is deemed to be not necessary.

The applicant, by way of filing this interlocutory application, has prayed for correction of the Cause Title of the connected writ petition being WP(c)6147/2021 wherein, while arraying the respondents, some typographical errors had inadvertently crept-up and as such, the directions passed by the Court vide order, dated 24.11.2021, disposing of the said writ petition, remains unimplemented.

Mr. Sarma, learned standing counsel, Secondary Education Department, Government of Assam, submits that he has no objection to the Court accepting the prayer made by the applicant in this interlocutory application. Page No.# 5/5

I have perused the averments made in this interlocutory application and on consideration of the matter in its entirety and for the ends of justice; I allow the instant interlocutory application and accordingly, direct that the Cause Title of the connected writ petition being WP(c)6147/2021 be corrected in the following manner:

(i). The respondent No. 6 as appearing in the Cause Title of the connected writ petition being WP(c)6147/2021, be now read as "Chairman, District Level Scrutiny Committee, represented by the Deputy Commissioner, Barpeta, Assam, PIN 781301; and

(ii). The respondent No. 7 as appearing in the Cause Title of the connected writ petition being WP(c)6147/2021, be now read as "Member Secretary, District Level Scrutiny Committee, represented by the Inspector of Schools, BDC, Barpeta, Assam, PIN 781301.

The learned counsel for the applicant will now reflect the corrected designation of the respondents No. 6 & 7 by way of filing an amended Cause Title of the connected writ petition being WP(c)6147/2021, before the Registry.

With the above directions; the interlocutory application accordingly stands disposed of.
