ORDER
21.10.2024
No one appears for the petitioner on call. Mr. S. Dutta, learned counsel appears for the P&RD Department. The prayer of the petitioner is to allow the petitioner to operate the Tangni Weekly Open Market, on the ground that no regular settlement has been made pursuant to the NIT dated 01.06.2024 which has been cancelled. The petitioner's prayer to allow him to operate the market, is on the ground that he had been the settlement holder for the said market for the Financial Year 2021-2022, which period expired 2 years back. As no one appears for the petitioner, it appears that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
