11/11/2024 Heard Ms. D Borgohain, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. K K Parashar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State respondent. This application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed by the petitioner, namely, Sri Bibek Sutradhar, son of Late Madan Sutrahdar, resident of Village-Naharani Gaon, P.S. Sarupathar, District-Golaghat, seeking bail in Sarupathar P.S. Case No. 21/2024 registered under Section 376(2)(n) IPC, read with Section 6 of the POCSO Act, wherein he was arrested on 13.08.2024 and is in custody since then. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. K K Parashar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, on instructions submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted charge-sheet in the said Sarupathar P.S. Case No. 21/2024 vide Charge-Sheet No. 23/2024 dated 30.09.2024. In view of the above, the petitioner may approach the appropriate forum for his regular bail in said Sarupathar P.S. Case No. 21/2024. With the above observation and direction, this bail application stands disposed of.
