Heard Mr. M. Ali, learned counsel for the petitioner Sarif Uddin. The petitioner has filed this application under Section 438 Cr.PC, with prayer for pre-arrest bail, as he is apprehending arrest in connection with DRI Seizure Case No. 06/CL/NDPS/GANJA/DRI/GZU/2023-24 registered u/s 8(c)/20(b)(ii)(c)/29 of the NDPS Act, 1985. Heard Mr. S.C. Keyal, learned Standing Counsel for DRI, Union of India who has submitted that although offence report has been filed, but the present petitioner has not been named as an accused in the offence report. I have considered the submissions at the Bar. As no offence report has been filed against the present petitioner, there is no case against the present petitioner. Hence, matter is closed.
