ORDER Date : 11.05.2024 The case is put up before the National Lok Adalat. The appellant, National Insurance Company Limited is represented by Ms. Mery Pegu, Regional Manager of the said Company. The respondent/claimant Smt. Trishna Gogoi is also present before this Court today. The claimant No. 2, Labanya Gogoi, who is the mother-in-law of the claimant No. 1 is being represented by the claimant No.1. This case has been mutually settled between the parties at an amount of Rs. 10,00,000/-. The Insurance Company has already paid an amount of Rs. 5,48,447/- to the Registry of this Court. The said amount has been disbursed to the claimant. Considering the settlement reached between the parties, the Insurance Company is directed to deposit the balance amount of Rs. 4,51,533/- to the Registry of this Court within a period of 45 days from the date of this order and on such deposit, the Registry shall disburse the award amount of Rs. Page No.# 3/3 10,00,000/- to the claimants on proper verification of their identity as well as verification of their bank details. The statutory deposit, if any, deposited by the appellant, may be returned back to the appellant by the Registry of this Court. With above observation, this case is disposed of.
