Judgment
ORDER Date : 12.08.2024
Heard Mr. M. Khan, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. B. Pathak, learned Standing Counsel for the BSNL appearing for all the respondents. Mr. M. Khan, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that in view of the affidavit filed by the respondents in the matter, disputed questions having come to the forefront, he would not like to press the writ petition any further. Accordingly, he prays that he be permitted to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach the respondent BSNL for claiming certain arrear payments due to him. The prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners is not Page No.# 3/3 objected to by Mr. B. Pathak, learned Standing Counsel for the BSNL. In view of the above, the writ petition stands dismissed on withdrawal. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioners to approach the respondents with full particulars, pertaining to the arrears in respect of the rent and/or watch and ward wages, if any, receivable, by them. In the event of such application being preferred by the petitioners, the BSNL authorities shall examine the same, strictly, with accordance with the agreements in place.
