The case is put up before the National Lok Adalat. The Insurance Company is represented by its officials.

The claimant duly present along with engaged counsel. It is submitted that the earlier awarded amount was Rs. 5,48,500 (Rupees five lakhs forty-eight thousand five hundred) only and the Insurance Company has already deposited the amount of Rs. 5,96,494 (Rupees five lakhs ninety-six thousand four hundred ninety-four) only including 7.5% interest. After negotiation both the parties are agreed to settle the matter on an additional Page No.# 3/3 amount of Rs 6,50,000/- (Rupees six lakhs fifty thousand) only as full and final settlement. Accordingly, the respondent/New India Assurance Company LTD. is hereby directed to deposit an additional settled amount of Rs 6,50,000/- (Rupees six lakhs fifty thousand) only before the learned MACT, Lakhimpur within a period of 1 (one) month from today along with earlier deposited amount of Rs. 5,96,494 (Rupees five lakhs ninety-six thousand four hundred ninety-four) only, if not already withdrawn and the claimant will be at liberty to withdraw the same on being proper verification and identification by the concerned counsel of the case. Return the Statutory deposited amount, if any, to the Insurance Company. The appeal stands disposed of in terms above. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
