¶2Heard Mr. B Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State.

¶3By this application under Section 483 BNSS, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Rustam Ali, son of late Muktar Ali, resident of Howly Town, P.S.-Howly, District-Barpeta, is seeking bail in Howly Police Station Case No. 113/2024 registered under Sections 76/318(2) of BNS read with Section 8 of the POCSO Act, wherein he was arrested on 28.09.2024.

¶4During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. B Sarma, learned APP, Assam, on instruction, has submitted that police after completion of the investigation of the case has already submitted Charge-Sheet in said Howly Police Station Case No. 113/2024 vide Charge Sheet No. 100/2024 dated 30.09.2024.

¶5In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the appropriate forum/authority for his regular bail in said Howly Police Station Case No. 113/2024.

¶6Accordingly, this bail application stands disposed of.
