ORDER Date : 01-03-2024 Heard Mr. M.U. Mondal, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. N. Bordoloi, learned counsel appearing of the respondent contemnor No. 2.

¶2This is an application under Sections 11 & 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India, canvassing willful disobedience and deliberate violation of the order dated 17.02.2023 passed by this Court in WP(C)/898/2023.

¶3The facts of the case is that by the order dated 17.02.2023, this Court directed to dispose of the writ petition by giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional designated public servant for redressal of his grievances which involves demarcation of the land. Since the exercise could not be completed within the stipulated period of six months prescribed by this Court by the order dated 17.02.2023, this contempt petition was filed.

¶4Ms. N. Bordoloi, learned counsel for the respondent contemnor No. 2 submits a letter of the Circle Officer, Bilasipara Revenue Circle dated 28.02.2024 whereby the counsel has been instructed that the demarcation as directed by this Court by the order dated 17.02.2023 has been complied with.

¶5A copy this letter is kept on record. Page No.# 3/3

¶6Mr. M.U. Mondal, learned counsel for the petitioner confirms that the order of this Court dated 17.02.2023 in WP(C)/898/2023 has already been complied with.

¶7In view of the fact that the order dated 17.02.2023 of this Court passed in WP(C)/898/2023 has already been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition.
