Heard Mr.N. Mahajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr. R.R. Kaushik, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam.

¶2This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioners, namely, 1. Dipankar Saha, 2. Gobinda Saha, son of Krishna Saha

¶3Gobinda Saha, son of Jagadish Saha & 4. Prasanjit Saha in respect of Kharupetia P.S. Case No. 122/2024.

¶3Pursuant to the interim order dated 30.10.2024 passed by this Court, the above-named petitioners have appeared before the Investigating Officer and their statements were recorded.

¶4Now this Court is of the opinion that since the petitioners have appeared before the Investigating Officer and their statements were recorded, their bail application is allowed.

¶6Therefore, the interim bail granted in favour of the petitioners on 30.10.2024 is hereby made absolute.

¶7With the aforesaid direction, the bail application stands disposed of. The CD shall be returned.
