M/S K.S. Oils Ltd. and 6 Ors v. The State of Assam and Anr

Heard Ms. S. Chakravarty, learned counsel for the applicants. Also heard Mr. B.B. Gogoi, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor for the State respondent.

¶2This interlocutory application is filed by the seven applicants, namely, M/s K.S. Oils Ltd., Sri Kishore Kumar Garg, Sri Om Prakash Garg, Sri Mohan Lal Garg, Sri Ramesh Garg, Sri Gobinda Garg and Sri Gopal Garg for correction of the typographical error that occurred in the judgment dated 30.05.2022 passed by this Court in Crl.Rev.P. No. 151/2020.

¶3Ms. Chakravarty, learned counsel for the applicants submits that in the judgment dated 30.05.2022, in Crl.Rev.P. No. 151/2020, this Court, while allowing the said revision petition, in paragraph Nos. 1, 2, 4, 16 and 19 the number of C.R. Case has been mentioned as 2834/2001 and in fact the same ought to have been 1200/2002 and therefore, Ms. Chakravarty contends that above typographical mistake may be corrected.

¶4Mr. B.B. Gogoi, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor also submits that in the Page No.# 3/3 judgment dated 30.05.2022 in the aforementioned paragraphs, the number of C.R. Case has been mentioned as 2834/2001 instead of 1200/2002.

¶5Having heard the submission of learned Advocates of both the sides, I have gone through this application, the documents placed on record and the judgment dated 30.05.2022 passed by this Court in Crl.Rev.P. No. 151/2020.

¶6It appears that the number of C.R. Case has been mentioned in the aforesaid judgment as 2834/2001 instead of 1200/2002 in paragraphs No. 1, 2, 4, 16 and 19.

¶7Accordingly, it is provided that the number of the C.R. Case in the aforesaid judgment shall be read as 1200/2002, instead of 2834/2001, for all purpose.

¶8In terms of the above, this interlocutory application stands disposed of.
