ORDER Date : 10.12.2024 Heard Mr. BM Choudhury, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms. N. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the state of Assam.

¶2Ms. N. Das has submitted that in this case, police has filed charge sheet being Charge Sheet No. 143/2024 dated 25.11.2024. Page No.# 2/2

¶3Mr. Choudhury submits that pursuant to the interim order granted earlier, the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and his statement has already been recorded.

¶4I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsels of both sides.

¶5Since the petitioner has complied with the conditions mentioned in the interim order passed earlier, he does not deserve to be detained in custody.

¶6It is hereby directed that the interim order granted earlier on 12.11.2024 is hereby made absolute. It is hereby directed that whenever the petitioner, Pankaj Dutta shall appear before the learned trial court at Jorhat in connection with Pulibor P.S. No. 143/2024, he shall be released on bail of 25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned trial court.
