Judgment
ORDER
05.01.2024 Heard Shri RM Deka, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Shri R Chetri, learned counsel appearing on instructions of Shri P Sarma, learned Page No.# 2/2 Standing Counsel, AFDC as well as Shri G Bokolial, learned State Counsel, Assam. The grievance of the petitioner is with regard to non-consideration of his representation dated 07.02.2017 which was submitted in terms of a direction of this Court. Apprehension of the petitioner was also with regard to finalizing of a tender process in respect of Daro Meen Mahal of Sibsagar district. This Court has, however, been apprised by the learned Standing Counsel representing the Department that in the year 2021, a fresh tender process was initiated and the settlement has been granted pursuant to such process. In view of the subsequent development, this writ petition does not have any live cause of action to be adjudicated. Accordingly, the same is closed.
