Imdhadul Ahmed @ Imdadul Ahmed v. The State of Assam

ORDER Date : 07.02.2024 Heard Ms. R.R. Borah, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. K.K. Das, learned Addl. P.P., Assam for the State respondent. The case was fixed for case diary. However, it is submitted by Mr. K.K. Das, learned Addl. P.P. that charge-sheet has already been filed vide Charge-Sheet No. 146/2023 dated 31.10.2023 in connection with Goalpara P.S. Case No. 141/2023 (G.R. Case No. 1139/2023) under Section 376 of the IPC. In this context, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner may be allowed to appear before the learned Court below extending interim pre-arrest bail. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for both the parties, the accused/petitioner is Page No.# 2/2 hereby directed to appear before the learned Court below within a period of 15 (fifteen) days from the date of this order. The earlier interim pre-arrest bail granted by this Court vide order dated 18.10.2023 will continue till the next 15 (fifteen) days.
