The case is put up before the National Lok Adalat.

The Insurance Company is represented by its officials.

The claimant is duly present along with engaged counsel.

It is submitted that the earlier awarded amount was Rs. 1,38,702/- (Rupees one lakhs thirty eight thousand seven hundred two) only and after negotiation, both the parties are agreed to settle the matter on an amount of Rs. 1,70,000/- (Rupees one lakhs seventy thousand) only as full and final settlement.

Accordingly, the appellant/New India Assurance Company Ltd. is hereby directed to deposit an amount of Rs. 1,70,000/- (Rupees one lakhs seventy Page No.# 3/3 thousand) only before the learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Tezpur within a period of 1 (one) month from today and the claimant will be at liberty to withdraw the same on being proper verification and identification.

The appeal stands disposed of in terms above.
