Mr. P. K. Borah, learned counsel for the respondents, has brought on record, a communication, dated 03.04.2024, issued by the Director, Elementary Education Department, Assam, to the Secretary to the Government of Assam, Department of School Education, requesting for taking necessary steps for provincialization of the services of the petitioner along with 2(two) other teachers of Joneswari ME School, Kamrup(M), by creating 3 no. of posts of Tutor. Page No.# 2/2 Along with the said communication, dated 03.04.2024, materials have been placed before this Court, which reveals that the consideration as required by this Court vide order, dated 16.02.2022, in WP(c)96/2022, was duly carried-out and it was concluded that the petitioner is eligible for being considered for provincialization of his services and a proposal in this connection has now been submitted to the Government vide the said communication, dated

03.04.2024.

In view of the above position, the directions as passed by this Court in the connected writ petition, having been complied with; the contempt petition accordingly stands closed.

The copy of the order, dated 03.04.2024, is kept as a part of the record and marked as 'X' for identification.
