Bench
S. Justice Mitali Thakuriaauthor
Case no.
AB 3688/2023

Judgment

ORDER Date : 05-03-2024 None appears on call for the petitioners.

Heard Mr. D. B. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam.

From the record, it is seen that vide order 19.10.2023, a co-ordinate Bench of this Court has extended interim protection to the petitioners with a direction to submit a report as to whether any case has been registered against the present petitioners. However, till date, no report has been received from the concerned Police Station.

Further it is seen that for the last 4 (four) consecutive dates, the petitioners remain absent without any steps.

In view of above and also considering the entire aspects of the case, I do not find any reason to proceed with the case further and accordingly, the present anticipatory bail application stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
