Judgment

O R D E R

01.03.2024. Heard Mr. S. Khound, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr. P.J. Saikia, learned standing counsel for the Gauhati University has submitted the re-evaluation of the answer scripts of the LLB-6th Semester Examination, 2023, held in June, 2023, in respect of Subject Paper 6.3 of the petitioner. It reveals that the petitioner, even after re-evaluation for the second time, has obtained only 30 marks, whereas the pass mark is 36. In view of above, Mr. S. Khound, learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that he may be allowed to withdraw the Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of on withdrawal. This Court extends its good wishes to petitioner and he would work more harder for the next examination. A copy of the re-evaluation result is kept on record by marking the same as document "X". Mr. P.J. Saikia, learned standing counsel for the Gauhati University shall furnish a copy of the re-evaluation result to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
