25.09.2024 Heard Mr. M. U. Mondal, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. A. Chakraborty, learned Govt. Advocate, Assam appearing for the respondent No.1, Mr. R. R. Gogoi, learned Standing Counsel, Forest Department, Assam appearing for the respondent Nos.2 to 5, Mr. R. K. Talukdar, learned Standing Counsel, AG appearing for the respondent Nos.7 and 8 and Mr. M. Ahmed, learned counsel for the respondent No.12. The controversy involved in this petition pertains to the claim of the writ petitioner as well as the respondent No.12 on the entitlement in the share of Page No.# 4/4 pensionary benefit of the deceased Govt. employee Late Jagadish Das. Taking note of the nature of dispute involved in this case, the matter was referred to the Mediation Center. The mediation process has been successful and both the parties have settled the dispute amicably by signing the Mediation Agreement dated 23.09.2024. Copy of the report of the Mediator is available on record. I have perused the same. The learned counsel for the petitioners and the respondent No.12 have both confirmed that the matter has been settled in terms of the Mediation Agreement dated 23.09.2024. In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of in accordance with the terms and conditions of the settlement of the Mediation Agreement dated

23.09.2024 marked "X", which shall form a part of this order. Needless to say that the authorities would now act as per the terms and conditions of the Agreement dated 23.09.2024 as expeditiously as possible. Writ petition stands closed.
