ORDER Date : 13.12.2024 Heard Mr. K. Kalita, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. I. Borthakur, learned counsel for the respondent no.1. By way of this application, the applicant is seeking impleadment of the new incumbents in the accompanying contempt petition being Cont.Case(C) No.606/2022 as respondent no.7. It appears that during the pendency of the aforesaid contempt case, contemnor no.4 has been changed and in his place one Shri. K. Page No.# 3/3 S. Gopinath Narayan, the Principal Accountant General, (A&E), Assam, Maidamgaon, Beltola, Guwahati-29 has joined. Accordingly, it appears that the presence of the aforesaid Officer is essential for effective adjudication of the contempt petition. As such, the prayer is allowed. It is provided that Shri. K. S. Gopinath Narayan shall be impleaded as party respondent/contemnor no.7 in Cont.Case(C) No.606/2022. Let an amended cause title be submitted before the Registry for doing the needful.
