It appears that the petitioner has taken back the brief from the engaged counsel and, accordingly, a submission was made by the earlier engaged counsel Mr. G. P. More on the last occasion, i.e., 22.04.2024. However, considering no alternative arrangement has been made by the petitioner to represent the petitioner before this Court, this Court on the last occasion granted a last chance to the petitioner to engage a counsel and appear before this Court on the next date fixed. It appears that today when the matter is called for, none appears on behalf of the petitioner. It further appears from the office note dated 10.05.2024 that the earlier set of counsel has filed a letter to delete their names from the instant writ petition, which is kept on record and marked as Flag-X. Further, the said office note indicates that no new counsel has been engaged by the petitioner till date. Considering that no alternative arrangement has been made, this Court is of the considered view that perhaps the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
