Purna Kanta Medak v. The State of Assam

29.04.2024 Heard learned counsel for the parties. This is an application under Section 438 Cr.P.C., praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner, Purna Kanta Medak in connection with Gogamukh PS case No. 105/2023 under Section 366/376(2)(n)/323/506 IPC. Page No.# 2/2 It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam that the charge sheet being CS No. 109/2023 has already been filed by the Investigating Officer after completion of the investigation. In that view of the matter, the instant bail application stands closed. The interim order dated 28.11.2023 passed earlier shall remain in force till the petitioner appears before the learned trial court on receipt of summon and seeks regular bail. In the event of such appearance seeking regular bail, the same be considered as per law.
