Case No. 152/2024 under Sections 325/3(5) of BNS, 2023 r/w Section 13(1) of the Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021. The allegation in the FIR dated 18.09.2024 reveals recovery and seizure of 130 Kgs. of suspected beef from the vehicle bearing regd. No. AS01EQ7146 going towards Sapatgram area via Tulshibil. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in judicial custody for 17 days since his arrest on 26.11.2024. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and on perusal of the FIR, Forwarding report and considering the above, this Court is of the considered opinion that further custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not warranted. Accordingly, it is provided that the petitioner named above shall be released on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/-with a suitable surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned SDJM, Gossaigaon , subject to the following conditions;-
(i) That the petitioner shall not leave the territorial jurisdiction of learned SDJM (M), Gossaigaon, Assam, without prior written permission from him/her;
