ORDER Date : 05-01-2024 Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

¶2The sole basis on which the instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner herein is that the petitioner has already completed the Recorder's Certificate Class Course

(RCCC) under the Assam Survey and Settlement Training Centre (ASSTC) and, as such, if the petitioner is directly recruited in terms with Rule 6 of the Assam Land Records Subordinate Service Rules, 2023 (hereinafter referred to as "Service Rules of 2023") to Page No.# 3/3 the post of Land Record Assistant, the petitioner would again have to undergo the said training. Accordingly, the instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for directing the respondent authorities to exempt the petitioner from undergoing the aforesaid training in the event the petitioner is recruited to the post of Land Record Assistant.

¶3This Court, upon hearing the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties, is of the opinion that as no recruitment process has yet been initiated, passing any direction at this stage would be premature and also would not be in the interest of justice. Under such circumstances, this Court is not inclined to entertain the instant writ petition at this stage.

¶4The writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the above.
