ORDER
01.03.2024
Heard Mr. B.D. Das, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. M. Sarma, learned counsel for the respondent Bank. Mr. Das, learned senior counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner wants to withdraw the writ petition in order to avail the statutory remedy of appeal before the appellant forum. He has submitted that since an interim order was passed earlier in the writ petition, the said interim order be extended till 22.03.2024 so as to enable the petitioner to prefer an appeal before the appellant forum and also to prevent creation of any other rights in the interregnum. Mr. Sarma, learned counsel for the respondent Bank has not opposed to the prayer made by the learned senior counsel for the petitioner for withdrawal of the writ petition. An interim order was passed in this writ petition on 22.11.2023 and the same is in operation till date. Having regard to the case projected in the writ petition, the prayer made by the learned senior counsel for the petitioner for extension of the operation of the said interim order till
22.03.2024 is found just. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed on withdrawal, by extending the operation of the interim order passed earlier on 22.11.2023 till 22.03.2024. It is made clear that the interim order will cease to have any effect beyond 22.03.2024. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
