ORDER

02.02.2024 Heard Mr A Deka, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr B B Gogoi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam.

¶2It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the charge sheet has been laid against the petitioner, Abdul Shahid, vide CS No. 78/2023, dated 29.12.2023, in connection with Basistha PS Case No. 671/2023, under Section 379 IPC, read with Page No.# 2/2 Section 11(1)(d) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960, read with Section 13(1)/16 of the Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021.

¶3The petitioner is directed to approach the learned jurisdictional Court and pray for bail, which may be considered by the learned Court, as per law.

¶4Matter is closed.
