08.01.2024 The instant application has been filed by the applicant to implead the Finance and Taxation Department of the Government of Assam as the respondent No.4 to the accompanying writ petition. Page No.# 3/3

¶2This Court has perused the instant application as well as the accompanying writ petition and this Court is of the opinion that presence of the Finance and Taxation Department of the Government of Assam is necessary for proper adjudication of the accompanying writ petition.

¶3Accordingly, this Court, therefore, impleads the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam, Finance and Taxation Department having its Office at Ground Floor, F Block Janata Bhawan, Dispur, Guwahati-781006 as the respondent No.4 to the accompanying writ petition.

¶4The petitioner is directed to file a fresh Memo of Parties before the Registry of this Court by 10.01.2024 and the Registry, on the basis of instant order as well as the fresh Memo of Parties shall make necessary changes in the cause title of the writ petition and also upload the same in the CIS.

¶5Accordingly, the I.A. stands allowed.
