ORDER Date : 08-01-2024 Heard Mr. R. Dev, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. K. Upamanyu, the learned counsel appearing for the Insurance Company. In the connected MAC Appeal No. 179/2020 the Insurance Company has deposited 50% of the awarded amount i.e. Rs.8,40,000/- (Rupees Eight Lakhs and forty thousand)only in the Registry of this Court and the present application has been filed praying for permission to withdraw the said amount of Rs.8,40,000/- (Rupees Eight Lakhs and forty thousand) only by the claimants. The learned counsel for the Insurance Company has submitted that the Insurance Company has no objection if the prayer is allowed. Accordingly prayer for withdrawal of Rs.8,40,000/- (Rupees Eight Lakhs and forty thousand) only is allowed. The Registry shall disburse Rs.8,40,000/-(Rupees Eight Lakhs and forty thousand) only in favour of the claimant applicant Nos. 1 and 2 without any rivals. I.A stands disposed of.
