Heard the learned counsel Mr. A. Ghosal appearing for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. K. Jain, the learned counsel representing the Union of India.

¶2This is the second bail application filed by the petitioners in respect of NDPS Case No.146/2022 corresponding to NCB Crime No.30/2021.

¶3In the earlier bail application, it was pleaded that the petitioners were arrested on the basis of statements under Sections 67 of the NDPS Act made by some other accused persons. At that time, this Court had held that it was yet to be proved in the trial that on the basis of statement of co-accused persons, these petitioners were arrested. On that ground, the bail application was rejected.

¶4Now, in the present bail application, no new ground has been pleaded. Therefore, this Court is of the opinion that this bail application is devoid of merit and stands dismissed.
