Judgment

ORDER

08.05.2024

¶1Heard Mr. B.K. Das, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. P. Sarma, learned counsel for the Fishery Department. Mr. G. Bakalial, learned counsel appears for the respondent nos.2 & 3.

¶2The petitioner has put to challenge the settlement of Brahmaputra Part-I and Dibang River Fishery with the respondent no.4 pursuant to the Sale Notice dated 04.10.2019. The petitioner has however not participated in the tender process, pursuant to the Sale Notice dated 04.10.2019.

¶3I have considered the contents of the writ petition. As the petitioner had not participated in the tender process for settlement of the fishery pursuant to the Sale Notice dated 04.10.2019, this Court is of the view that the writ petition is not maintainable, as no right of the petitioner can be said to have been violated.

¶4The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
