Heard Ms. M. Das, learned counsel for the applicant. The present application is filed by the writ petitioner in WP(C) No. 5272/2022 for impleadment of Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam, Finance Department as party respondent No. 5. The connected writ petition being WP(C)/5272/2022 is filed seeking a direction to the respondent authorities to accord Ex-facto regularization of the petitioner in her substantive post of Assistant Teacher under the Elementary Education Department and with a further prayer to direct the respondents to finalize and release the pension of the petitioner. Considering the nature of grievance and claim, this Court is also of the view that Finance Department may be a necessary party for proper adjudication of the connected writ petition. Accordingly, the I.A. stands allowed and the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam, Finance Department, Dispur, Guwahati-6, be arrayed as respondent No. 5 in the cause title of the connected writ petition. Registry to correct the cause title of the connected writ petition by impleading the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam, Finance Department, Dispur, Guwahati-6, as respondent No. 5.
