18.12.2024 Heard Mr. P.H. Konwar, learned counsel for the applicant and also heard Mr. D. Upamanyu, learned counsel for the contemnor No.2. Page No.# 2/2 This interlocutory application under Order 1 Rule 10(2), read with Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, is preferred by the applicant for impleadment of the present incumbent as contemnor in the Cont.Cas(C) No.490/2022. Mr. Upamanyu, learned counsel appearing for the contemnor No.2 submits that he has no objection in the event of allowing the present application. However, Mr. Upamanyu submits that notice may be issued. Having heard the submission of learned counsel for both the parties, this Court is inclined to allow this interlocutory application. The present incumbent, namely, Pomi Baruah, Director of Higher Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati-19, be impleaded as contemnor No.2 in the Cont.Cas(C) No.490/2022.
