Mr. B. Ali SK, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B.B. Gogoi, learned Additioonal Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State respondent. By this application under Section 438, Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 [CrPC], the petitioner Page No.# 2/2 viz. Abdul Mazid has approached this Court seeking the benefit of pre-arrest bail, apprehending his arrest, in connection with Hajo Police Station Case no. 666/2023 registered under Sections 457/380, Indian Penal Code [IPC]. Today, Mr. Gogoi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted, on instruction, that the I.O. of the case after completion of investigation in connection with Hajo Police Station Case no. 666/2023, has already submitted a final report vide Final Report no. 773/2023 dated 31.12.2023. In view of submission of final report in connection with Hajo Police Station Case no. 666/2023, there is no necessity to proceed further with the instant application and accordingly, the same stands closed.
