Giyas Uddin v. The State of Assam

ORDER

12.06.2024 Heard Md Imran, learned counsel for the petitioner, Giyas Uddin and Mr B B Gogoi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam.

¶2It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the charge sheet has been laid against the petitioner, vide CS No. 576/2023 dated 29.12.2023, in connection Page No.# 2/2 with Basistha PS Case No. 747/2023, registered under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, read with Section 11(1)(d) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 and read with Section 13 (1)/16 of the Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021.

¶3The petitioner is at liberty to appear before the jurisdictional Court within 20 days from today and apply for bail, if so advised and the learned Court may consider the bail application, as per law.

¶4Matter is closed.
