ORDER Date : 29-04-2024 Mr. A. Hoque, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as Ms. S. Baruah, learned CGC for the respondent nos.1 and 2 are present.

¶2Mr. H. Sarma, learned Addl. Senior Govt. Advocate for the respondent nos.3 and 4 has produced a copy of instructions dated 22.04.2024 indicating that the land acquisition compensation has been received in their office and notice dated 18.04.2024 have already been sent to the beneficiaries.

¶3In view of the said instructions, the Court is inclined to provide that a photocopy of it be given to Mr. A. Mannaf, learned counsel for the petitioners and accordingly there should be no impediment on part of the District Commissioner-cum-Collector, Goalpara to disburse land acquisition compensation to the petitioners on their appearance before the designated officer under the establishment of the District Commissioner-cum-Collector, Page No.# 3/3 Goalpara for release of the compensation amount.

¶4The petitioners are permitted to produce a certified copy of this order before the office of the District Commissioner-cum-Collector, Goalpara together with the photocopy of notice issued to the petitioners. The learned senior Govt. Advocate shall also provide a photocopy of the instructions to be retained in record.

¶5In view of the above, this writ petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioners to approach the office of the District Commissioner-cum-Collector, Goalpara for collecting the land acquisition compensation, which shall be released within a period of 30 (thirty) days from the date of appearance of the petitioners.
