The instant application has been filed by the applicant seeking impleadment of Sri Pabitra Ram Khound, the present Secretary to the Government of Assam, Irrigation Department and Sri M. K. Gopal Sana Raj Kumar, the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department as the respondent Nos.3 & 4 to the accompanying Contempt Application.

¶2This Court has duly taken note of that the petitioner has come to learn that the respondent Nos.1 & 2 have already demitted from their respective offices for which the petitioner had taken appropriate steps by issuing notices to both Sri Pabitra Ram Khound and Sri M. K. Gopal Sana Raj Kumar on 19.10.2023 which was duly received in their respective offices on 20.10.2023.

¶3Inspite of the fact that there has been no compliance to the order dated 02.02.2015 passed in Cont.Cas(C) No.394/2014, this Court is of the opinion that it is a fit case for impleading the said Sri Pabitra Ram Khound, the Secretary to the Government of Assam, Irrigation Department having his office at Dispur, Guwahati-781006 and Sri M. K. Gopal Sana Raj Kumar, the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department having its office at Chandmari, Guwahati-781003 as the respondent Nos.3 & 4 to the accompanying Contempt Application. Page No.# 3/3

¶4The petitioner is directed to submit a fresh Memo of Parties before the registry of this Court and on the basis of the said Fresh Memo of Parties and the order passed herein, the Registry of this Court shall make necessary changes in the Cause Title of the accompanying Contempt Application and also update the same in the CIS.

¶5In view of the above, the instant application stands disposed of.
