Heard Mr. A. Matlib, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. M.D. Bora, learned counsel appearing for the respondent no. 2, who has produced a copy of the order dated 12/06/2024 issued by the Department to submit that the order of this Court has already been complied with. Mr. A. Das, learned counsel for the respondent no. 1 is present. After going through the copy of the order dated 12/06/2024 issued by the Under Secretary to the Government of Assam, this Court is of the opinion that the order of this Court has been complied with as the matter has already been placed before the State Level Committee whereby, an order has been issued to appoint the petitioner in the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Assam. Mr. A. Matlib, learned counsel for the petitioner has confirmed the said position. In view of the above, by retaining a copy of the order dated 12/06/2024 in the record of this case, the contempt case stands closed.
