10.01.2024. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that taking into account Section 20 of the Right to Information Act, 2005, he would avail such remedies before the Assam Information Commission, by filing appropriate application.

(2) Taking into account the above, the instant Writ Petition therefore stands closed on withdrawal with the liberty given to the petitioner to approach the Assam Information Commission, in terms of Section 20 of the Right to Information Act, 2005.

(3) This Court further taking into account the various orders, which have been passed by the Assam Information Commission observes and directs that the Assam Information Commission shall take appropriate action in terms of Section 20 of the Right to Information Act, 2005, if the information which have been directed to be furnished has not been done by the respondent authorities, after following the due process.
