ORDER Date : 10-01-2024 Heard Mr. PJ Saikia learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. AK Gupta learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. G Kakoti, learned counsel for the respondent. This is an application under article 227 of the constitution of India paying for a direction asking the First Appellate Court to dispose of the appeal in Misc (appeal) No. 8/2023 within a short period of time. The learned counsel for the respondent also agreed that he has no objection if any direction is passed to the trial court asking him to dispose of the matter within a short time. After hearing both the sides, the learned Civil Judge, Sibsagar is directed to dispose of the said Misc Appeal No.08/2023 within the month of February, 2024. It is further directed that no construction activity shall be undertaken in the Schedule A land until the said Misc appeal is Page No.# 3/3 disposed of. With the aforesaid direction, the instant petition is disposed of.
