Manoj Kumar Borah and Anr v. The State of Assam

23.01.2024 Heard Mr. D. Das, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. M.K. Das, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Addl. P.P, Assam for the State and Mr. R. Borah, learned counsel for the informant. It is submitted by Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Addl. P.P., that charge-sheet has been submitted in the case vide C.S. No. 196/2023 dated 31.12.2023 in connection with Biswanath Chariali P.S. Case No. 194/2023 under Section 325/392/34 of the Indian Penal Code. In view of the above, the anticipatory bail application stands closed with a direction to the petitioners to appear before the learned Court below within 15(fifteen) days from today and seek regular bail, if so advised. If such bail application is filed, the same shall be disposed of in accordance with law. The interim order, dated 22.12.2023 will continue for the next 7 (seven) days from the date of this order or till the petitioners' appearance before the learned Court below, whichever is earlier.
