ORDER

15.03.2024 Heard Mr. S. Chauhan, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. D. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, for the State respondent. This is an application under Section 451/457 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking release of Hyundai X-CENT CRDI Prime T+Car bearing Page No.# 2/2 Registration No. AS-O1EW-0141 in zimma of the petitioner, being the registered owner. Mr. D. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, for the State respondent submits on the basis of the letter dated 15.03.2024, received from the OC Mazbat Police Station, that the investigation is completed and charge-sheeted has been submitted, vide C.S. No. 44/23 dated 15.07.2023. A copy of the said letter is kept on record. He further submits that the above mentioned vehicle is not required for further investigation. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this court is of the considered view that for the ends of justice, this criminal revision petition can be disposed of with a direction that the petitioner shall produce the relevant documents before the Investigating Officer, who shall thereafter, verify the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. It is needless to clarify the aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of 10 (ten) days after receipt of the documents from the petitioner. With the above observation, this criminal revision petition is hereby disposed of.
