The appellant, namely, Cholamandalam Ms General Insurance Company Limited is represented by Mr. Gautam Pradhan, Assistant Manager, Claims Legal of the said Company. The claimant/respondent Smt. Pompy Devi is also present before the Court. This case has been amicably settled between the parties at an amount of Rs. 4,00,000/-. Considering the settlement reached between the parties, the respondent Insurance Company is directed to deposit the settled amount of Rs. 4,00,000/- to the Registry of this Court within a period of 45 days from the date of this order and on such deposit, the Registry shall disburse the said amount to the claimant on proper verification of their identity as well as verification of their bank details.
