Shri Salong Ao v. The State of Nagaland

¶1Heard Mr. Sentiyanger, learned counsel for the applicant and also heard Mr. K. Angami, learned PP for the State.

¶2This interlocutory application is preferred by the applicant, Shri. Salong Ao, for correction of the cause title in Criminal Revision No. 2 of 2020.

¶3Mr. Sentiyanger, learned counsel for the applicant submits that in the cause title in Criminal Revision No. 2 of 2020, it has been inadvertently mentioned as "impugned judgment and order dated 30-06-2014 passed by the Page No.# 2/2 learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kohima, Nagaland by which the appellant was convicted under section 379 & 447 IPC" instead of Section 380 & 457 IPC, and, therefore, it is contended to allow this application and to make necessary correction in the cause title.

¶4Having heard the submissions of the learned counsels for both sides, and I have gone through the petition and accordingly, the petition is allowed.

¶5In the cause title of the petition, Section 380 and 457 be inserted in place of Section 379 & 447 IPC.

¶6In view of the above, the interlocutory application stands allowed and disposed of.
