ORDER Date : 20-02-2024 Mr. S. Temjen, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that taking into account that the land was donated free of cost on the basis of an Oral Agreement with the agents of the Government that the family of the petitioner would be duly granted an appointment as per the customs which was prevalent, and further, in view of the Notification dated 05.03.2018, issued by the Chief Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Land Revenue Department, he would not like to press the instant writ petition but rather avail his remedies in terms with Clause (3)(b) of the said Notification dated 05.03.2018. Considering the above, the instant writ petition stands closed. The withdrawal of the instant writ petition shall not, however, affect the petitioner's right to claim remedies on the basis of Clause

(3)(b) of the Notification dated 05.03.2018, if otherwise permissible under law.
