15.05.2024 (Michael Zothankhuma, J) Heard Mr. S.K. Medhi, learned CGC appearing for the applicants/appellants. This is an application filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963 for condonation of delay of 57 days in preferring an appeal against the Judgment & Order dated 16.11.2023 passed in WP(C) No. 61/2023. In terms of the order of this Court dated 10.04.2024, the applicants have published the notice to be given to the respondent No. 4 through the Vanglaini and Aizawl Post newspapers dated 27.04.2024. However, no one appears for the respondent No.

¶4Mrs. H. Lalmalsawmi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the Page No.# 4/4 respondent Nos. 1 to 3 submits that she has got no objection to the delay being condoned. On considering the submissions made by the learned CGC for condoning the delay, we find that sufficient cause for the delay has been made out. Accordingly, the delay of 57 days is condoned. I.A is accordingly allowed.
