ORDER Date : 28.02.2024 Heard Mr. J.C. Lalnunsanga, learned counsel for the petitioner along with Mr. C. Zoramchhana, learned counsel for respondent No. 2. This contempt petition has been filed due to the non-compliance of this Court's Order dated 27.04.2023 in WP(Crl.) No. 3/2022, wherein this Court had passed an order for the de-freezing of the Bank account of the petitioner. Thereafter, the respondents had preferred an appeal which was also dismissed in WA No. 312/2023 dated 30.11.2023. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the Bank account of the petitioner has been de-freezed, the instant contempt petition Page No.# 3/3 may be closed. Mr. C. Zoramchhana, learned counsel for the respondent also submits that the respondents have duly complied with the judgment and order of this Court's Order dated 27.04.2023 in WP(Crl.) No. 3/2022. In view of the above, this Court finds it fit to close the Contempt Case No. 9/2023, finding that the respondents have duly complied with the judgment and order of this Court's Order dated 27.04.2023 in WP(Crl.) No. 3/2022, by defreezing the Bank account of the petitioner. Accordingly, Contempt Case No. 9/2023 stands closed and disposed of.
