Judgment
ORDER Date : 18.08.2023 BEFORE HONOURABLE MRS. JUSTICE MARLI VANKUNG Heard Mr. C. Zoramchhana, learned counsel for the applicants along with Mr. Victor L. Ralte, learned counsel for the opposite party. The learned counsel for the applicants has filed this application under Order 1 Rule 10(2) CPC read with Section 151 CPC for impleadment of the present applicants in the instant writ petition to intervene in connection with WP(C) No. 99/2022 and to implead them as respondent Nos. 6, 7 & 8 respectively in the connected writ petition to allow them to contest in the connected writ petition, since there has been adversely effected in the interim order passed by this Page No.# 4/4 Court in WP(C) No. 99/2022 dated 14.09.2022. Mr. Victor L. Ralte, learned counsel for the opposite party has strongly objected mentioning that the present applicants have no loca standi in the instant writ petition, since there is no order showing that steps were taken for the regularization of the instant applicants and therefore, they have nothing to say in this matter. Having heard the submissions made by both the parties, this Court finds that it is appropriate for the applicants to be impleaded in the pending WP(C) No. 99/2022, since it appears that they have been adversely affected by the stay order dated 14.09.2022 and furthermore, it is also seen that since there is a limited number of vacancies for being regularized in the instant writ petition could adversely effected the interest, if the writ petition was allowed. In view of the above, I.A.(Civil) No. 68/2023 is allowed and the learned counsel for the applicants is allowed to make corrections in the cause title for impleadment of the instant applicants as respondent Nos. 6, 7 & 8 in WP(C) No. 99/2022. Accordingly, the corrected cause title is to be filed within 2 (two) weeks. Thereafter, notice may be issued to the newly impleaded respondent Nos. 6, 7 &
¶8I.A.(Civil) No. 68/2023 thus stands allowed and disposed.
