Smt. Lalnunsangi and Anr v. Sh. Zomuanpuia

ORDER Heard Ms. Jacinta Zothanmawii, learned counsel for the applicants. Also heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the sole respondent.

The present interlocutory application has been initiated, praying for condonation of delay of 400 days in preferring the connected appeal being RFA 22/2024.

Page No.# 3/3 Ms. Zothanmawii, learned counsel for the applicants, has drawn the attention of this Court to the causes as set-out in the pleadings of the interlocutory application towards justifying the delay so occasioning in approaching this Court by way of instituting the connected appeal.

The learned counsel for the sole respondent has vehemently opposed to the prayer of the applicants for condonation of delay in preferring the connected appeal.

I have perused the causes as shown in the interlocutory application by the applicants praying for condonation of delay and the causes so shown by the applicants in preferring the connected appeal is found to be satisfactory and the delay of 400 days in preferring the connected appeal, is hereby condoned.

The interlocutory application accordingly stands disposed of.
