Sh. David Malsawmsanga v. Sh. R, Hmingthanga

ORDER Date : 05.03.2024 Heard Mr. B. Lalramenga, learned counsel for the appellant along with Mr. R.K. Malsawmkima, learned counsel for the respondent. On hearing the submissions made by the learned counsels, it is seen that the dispute before the learned Trial Court is with regards to the withdrawal of money from the Bank account of the respondent by the appellant. The claim of the present appellant was that the money withdrawn from the ATM card of the respondent was done with the consent of the respondent. It is also seen that the appellant is the grandson of the respondent and they lived in the same house. Thus, this Court considering the above nature of dispute wherein, the dispute is between the Grandfather and Grandson, this Court finds that there is scope for the parties to come to an amicable settlement. In view of the above, the learned counsels will get instructions from their respective clients whether the parties are willing to have the matter referred to the Lok Adalat.
